About 2011 Harley-Davidson Road King Models

Four Road King builds make up the 2011 lineup, and their factory audio varies more than most Harley families. The Road King and Road King Classic typically carry a fairing-mounted AM/FM stereo, while the Police package and stripped Shrine builds are often delivered with no audio system installed at the factory. Regardless of which one you own, none of these radios were engineered with a smartphone in mind, so there's no hidden CarPlay mode to switch on.

Bikes with the factory stereo get a straightforward swap to a CarPlay-ready aftermarket radio built for the same fairing opening. Bikes with no radio at all — or riders who'd rather leave the dash untouched — add a HogPlay Media Screen at the bars instead. Owners cross-shopping the Road King Classic against the standard Road King get identical options either way.
