About 2007 Harley-Davidson Street Glide Models
The 2007 Street Glide introduced Harley's chopped, low-profile batwing fairing — a styling shift from the full-dress Electra Glide — but the electronics inside were unchanged: a basic AM/FM radio with a cassette-era control layout and no digital audio input. Bluetooth, USB, and CarPlay simply didn't exist on Harley's radar yet. The sidecar-equipped FLHX shares the same head unit and wiring, so the fitment problem — and the fix — is identical across the whole 2007 Street Glide family.
Because the factory unit has no Bluetooth path to build on, the cleanest upgrade is a direct-fit aftermarket CarPlay head unit sized to the Street Glide's dash pocket, or a clamp-mounted HogPlay Media Screen that bolts to the handlebar and leaves the factory radio alone entirely. Both routes hand you wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. See the Street Glide and FLHX sidecar pages for parts confirmed to fit your exact bike.
