The 2007 Harley-Davidson Nightster arrived as the darkest, rawest bike in the Sportster line — blacked-out engine covers, a stubby mini headlamp nacelle, narrow front tire, and stripped fenders that gave it a factory-custom, chopped-down stance unlike any other Sporty before it. Power comes from the Evolution 1200 (1,202cc), a torquey air-cooled V-twin. Bare bars mean no factory radio or display of any kind — riders bolt on the 7-inch HogPlay Media Screen to finally get sound and navigation up front.

No Factory Radio — Add Your Own Screen

The 2007 Harley-Davidson Nightster left the factory with no radio, stereo or touchscreen to bypass — so instead of a workaround, you add your own. A standalone HogPlay Media Screen is a 7-inch head unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, live Maps & Waze navigation, calls and streaming built in — we recommend the Screen 7 Pro with its onboard DVR drive-cam. Most riders settle for Bluetooth-only kits that leave the phone in your pocket with no turn-by-turn directions; this puts it all on the bars instead. It mounts to the handlebars with basic power and ground and comes off just as easily, so reach out to the HogPlay team if you'd like a hand. (Media Box support on Screens is in development.)

We also stock universal parts that fit the 2007 Harley-Davidson Nightster and most other motorcycles — standalone CarPlay screens and universal USB power.

About the 2007 Harley-Davidson Nightster

Harley built the Nightster to look like a custom shop already got to it stock — low seat, minimal bodywork, and that blacked-out Evolution 1200 hanging out in the open for everyone to see. It's a stripped, stance-first cruiser, and that's exactly the point: nothing on the bars but grips, switches, and a speedo. No wiring harness, no mounting boss, no screen.

The HogPlay Media Screen fills that gap without touching the Nightster's clean lines. It clamps to the existing handlebar, pulls power and ground from the battery or a fused accessory tap, and pairs wirelessly with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto — no head unit, no dash cutting, no antenna. The built-in speaker handles audio on its own, and because the whole install is just two wires, it comes off just as easily if you ever want the bars bare again.

The 2007 Nightster introduced a leaner, meaner Sportster silhouette, and the HogPlay Media Screen keeps that same stripped-back spirit while adding real tech. Dual Bluetooth channels run at once: one pairs your phone for wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, the other feeds an auxiliary amp, handlebar speakers, or a portable Bluetooth speaker. A small built-in speaker handles turn-by-turn voice prompts and light audio on its own. Backed by the Evolution 1200 engine and a fully sealed, waterproof, rugged housing, it's built for this Nightster's aggressive riding style.
