Unlike the Road Glide's frame-mount fairing, the Street Glide runs the classic batwing — but the head unit tucked behind that fairing in 2000 is functionally the same legacy AM/FM/weatherband deck found across the touring lineup, sometimes paired with Harman/Kardon speakers for volume rather than features. There's no Bluetooth pairing, no aux input worth trusting, and certainly no CarPlay lock screen. It's a radio built for the era it came from, not for a smartphone that didn't exist yet.

HogPlay's aftermarket CarPlay radio drops into that same batwing opening on the 2000 Street Glide and hands it wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto without any dash surgery involved.
