About 2000 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Models
Trim climbs from Standard to Classic to Classic Shrine mostly changed chrome, seating, and passenger comfort in 2000 — the audio stayed legacy AM/FM throughout, with Harman/Kardon speaker upgrades reserved for the nicer trims rather than any smarter head unit. The Electra Glide Classic with Sidecar (FLHTCI) and its FLHTI cousin used the same deck again; a third wheel doesn't change what's wired to the dash. None of the six trims have Bluetooth, a touchscreen, or a way to answer a call hands-free.
An aftermarket CarPlay radio swaps directly into the Electra Glide's fairing opening across every trim listed here, Standard through Shrine. If keeping the factory face is the priority, a bar-mounted Media Screen adds CarPlay alongside the stock unit instead of replacing it, on the base Electra Glide or the mid-tier Electra Glide Classic alike, with no fairing surgery needed either way.
