About 2024 Indian FTR Models
It's an easy mix-up: Ride Command Air looks like a modern connected display, and in a limited sense it is, relaying calls and turn cues from a paired phone on the FTR. But there's no app grid behind that glass, no native Maps or Spotify, and nothing resembling the full Ride Command touchscreen found on Indian's touring bikes. Trying to find a CarPlay bypass for the FTR's Ride Command Air won't get you anywhere, because there's no CarPlay handshake there to bypass in the first place.
What actually works is adding capability rather than unlocking it: a HogPlay Media Screen sits alongside the factory gauge on the FTR's bars and runs full wireless CarPlay and Android Auto on its own. Check the 2024 FTR page for bar-clamp sizing before you order, since FTR's flat-track-inspired cockpit runs narrower than most cruisers, and a USB piglet adaptor is worth a look if you'd rather keep the bars clean.
