For iPhone riders, the Roadmaster's Ride Command setup already works exactly as advertised: plug in, get CarPlay, done. Android owners hit a wall the moment they try the same USB port, since the factory software simply doesn't recognize an Android Auto handshake.
A HogPlay bypass adaptor solves that mismatch by presenting the Roadmaster's head unit with a connection it already trusts, unlocking full Android Auto on the same Roadmaster touchscreen an iPhone rider would use, no extra display bolted to the fairing.
