No Factory Radio — Add Your Own Screen
The 2018 Harley-Davidson Deluxe left the factory with no radio, stereo or touchscreen to bypass — so instead of a workaround, you add your own. The Deluxe's whole appeal is nostalgia done right — full skirted fenders, whitewall-ready tires, and a low, wide seat that puts the rider right in the classic big-twin cruiser stance, backed by the Milwaukee-Eight 107's stronger low-end torque over the outgoing Twin Cam mill. None of that vintage character gets disturbed by adding the HogPlay Media Screen. The unit clamps to the handlebar, taps into a 12V power source and ground, and the wiring tucks in cleanly alongside the stock harness.
Because the mount is reversible, the screen can angle toward the rider or be pulled entirely if you ever want the cockpit to look factory-stock again.
Behind that skirted fender and chrome trim, the HogPlay Media Screen runs two Bluetooth connections at once on this 2018 Softail Deluxe — one pairs your phone for wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, the other streams audio out to handlebar speakers, a portable Bluetooth speaker, or an auxiliary amp. A small built-in speaker handles turn-by-turn prompts and light audio on its own, and the whole housing is sealed and waterproofed to shrug off rain, road grime, and whatever else the ride throws at it.
